History of the brand
The brand Nalyvky from Lviv was born 25 years ago, in 1997, when the founder of the brand Taras Kolodij created his first tincture Medivka (honey liqueur). The creation of the Nalyvky from Lviv brand required many years of hard work, including the recreation of traditional Galician recipes, the introduction of production technology and the development of the brand's style. In reality, however, it all started with the passion for liqueur production of several generations of the Kolodyi family. The old recipes and the love for this drink have been handed down from grandfather to grandfather. As a result, the family hobby has grown into a successful business. "I have never aspired for Nalyvka from Lviv to become a commercial project, because it is my baby that brings pleasure first and foremost, and only then dividends," brand founder Taras Kolodiej told us. In 2012, the brand's tincture of 12 herbs was named the best in Lviv at the annual Liquor Festival! And this became the motivation and gave rise to the creation of the first branded shop "Nalyvky from Lviv". In 2014, the first specialty branded store of certified liquors licensed in Ukraine was opened in Lviv at 8 Ruska Street. Soon after, a second store was opened in Lviv (24 Staroyevreiska Street). Subsequently, natural liquor stores appeared in the largest cities of Ukraine: in 2016, stores were opened in Kiev (2014), Odessa (2015), Kharkiv (2015) and in the Bukovel ski resort. In September 2017, the first bar in Lviv was opened, specializing in "Lviv liquors". In March 2018, a Nalyvky from Lviv store was opened in Warsaw (Poland). In 2017, popular liqueurs appeared in the largest retail chain in Ukraine - Silpo (in Exclusive stores in Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kiev, Ternopil), "Auchan" (Lviv), "Rukavichka" (Lviv) and "Zakhidnya" (Kharkiv).
